- 2nd/ 5th June – Vago Open Racing/ Training/ Fun Long Weekend.

Meanwhile the Northern Brass Monkey Series was cancelled for the second weekend running. Races 3 & 4 were abandoned on 15th January due to lack of wind and sub-zero temperatures, and races 5 & 6 on 22nd January were buried in gale force winds with spectacular mini tornados whipping across the lake. The forecast for this Sunday 29th January is looking mid range and it is hoped to run races 7 & 8 starting at 12 noon.
The 14 race series runs through to 19th February inclusive, and is open to all boats with a PY 908 - 1386. Entry for the whole series is £20, or £4 per day and includes free berthing of boats during the series in secure compounds.
