Cowes Week Limited (CWL) is pleased to announce that Chatham Marine has signed up to join the event's family of event sponsors as Official Footwear Sponsor of Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week.

Award-winning Chatham Marine combines very British styling and traditional craftsmanship with innovative design to create deck shoes that appeal to today's sailors, and is ideally matched with this iconic British sailing event.

Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week will complement Chatham's growing support of international sport by adding to the company's recently announced relationship with the Formula 1 team, Sahara Force India. Commenting on this latest announcement, which will provide support closer to home, Philip Marsh, Managing Director of Chatham Marine, said: "Chatham and Cowes are two great British brands and we are delighted to be associated with the prestigious Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week."

Michelle Warner, Sales & Marketing Director at Cowes Week limited, added: "We're delighted to have established this new relationship with a brand that celebrates such great British style. Chatham's deck shoes are a great choice for professional sailors and weekend warriors alike and so we're delighted to provide the opportunity for Chatham to promote their range with our race participants and also visitors to Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, many of whom are also sailors."
