Sprint 15 National Championships at Pentewan Sands Sailing Club - Preview

The Sprint 15s are holding their National Championships at Pentewan Sands Sailing Club on 25-27 August. There are 63 pre-entries and we expect excellent racing as usual. Further entries are welcome at the event.

We have renamed our National Championship Trophy the 'Nick Dewhirst Shield' in memory of our chairman who died so suddenly less than a month ago.

After the three days of racing, over 30 of the helms are staying over for the rest of the week of fun events. This includes a go-kart grand prix with 22 pre-entries and then various sailing cruises along the Cornish coastline with lunch stops on the way.

A total lack of breeze on Saturday and 4 light wind races on Sunday Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th October saw 16 Dart 15s prepare themselves for the last of the Summer Series and Inland Championship at Grafham Water Sailing Club, generously supported by Gill.
