The Lark Class will once again be exhibiting at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace this weekend on the usual stand E32 in the West Hall.

The Larks will be displaying a new Ovington Boats built Lark. Ovington Boats took over building the Lark in 2009 and so far have been producing some of the finest looking Larks the class has ever seen, so be sure to go along and have a look.

Also being displayed will be a brand new Laminate Mainsail. The move to allowing Laminate Sails in the Larks was voted on at the end of 2013 following a 4 month trail period agreed during the class AGM in August 2013. The sail on the stand is one of the first to be produced since the voting and is certainly not to be missed!

The Larks are a class that offers friendly competitive racing for all ages and abilities. So whether you are a current Lark sailor or you think the Lark might be the class for you then go and visit the Lark stand to meet up with current Lark sailors. Have a chat about everything Lark. Including buying a new or 2nd hand boat, the fantastic circuit sponsored by GJW Direct that's planned for the year as well as the eagerly awaited National Championships in Penzance, also sponsored by GJW Direct.

James Ward, Lark Class Chairman said "We are all excited about this years show. With the modern looking Ovington Boat along with the great looking new Laminate sails we have really brought the boat into modern times. The Lark has never looked sexier and is certainly going to stand out at the show and on start lines throughout the UK in 2014.
