The Youth Championships take place at Hykeham Sailing Club on Saturday 26th April. Free entry to the National Championships at Pevensey Bay 23rd – 26th August is offered to the winner of the event with the use of a Foiling Feeling Foolish design for that event.

This boat is fast enough to win the championships if sailed to its full potential, so this is a great chance for a good young helm to compete against some of the best helms in the country.

The event is open to all helms born on or after 01 January 1993 and you do not need to be a member of the National 12 owners association to take part.

The National 12 is a fantastic boat to sail and with a weight range of 16 – 22 stone it is the perfect boat for teenagers, so if you want to take part but need a boat let me know and I will try to find one for you.

There is also an open meeting on the Sunday so why not make a weekend of it and show the 'Old ones' what you can do. Free camping is available on Saturday night.

Briefing is at 11.30 for a 12 O'clock start. We are planning to hold four races and with an entry fee of just £5 that represents incredible value for money.
