Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy Week promised to be bigger and better than ever, and it is!
Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy week which starts on Sunday 20th July has reached a whopping 260 entries beating its 2013 entries by far. Equally as exciting is the increase in numbers in the junior fleets, teaming up with the Optimist Class Association has seen over 30 optimist enter for racing everyday as well as two mornings of race coaching.
"Sun, Sea, Sailing and a whole lot of family FUN, sums up perfectly the ethos behind Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy Week," says Andy Teague organiser of Dinghy Week.
Some of the many exciting fleets taking part this year include the Topps, Asymmetric Fleet, Lasers and Laser Radials, RS200 and not to mention the everlasting Solo and Phantom fleets who always provide lots of exciting racing and great entertainment.
Meanwhile on the shore promises not to disappoint either, with the local band Elephant Juice booked to play on both the Monday & Thursday evenings there will be no excuse but to head to the bar!
At the end of the week the lucky winners of each fleet will be rewarded with some exciting prizes from the newly launched CrewsaverPhase2 Dinghy Range.
