PASAB 2016 (Penzance around Scilly and Back) dates announced

Penzance Sailing Club welcome all sailors to participate in the annual PASAB (Penzance Around Scilly And Back) yacht race.

PASAB has been run for over thirty years and this year will be run between 29th July and 1st August 2016 over three legs:

  • Leg 1: Penzance to St Mary's, Isle of Scilly – 29th July
  • Leg 2: Around the Islands – 31st July
  • Leg 3: St Mary's, Isle of Scilly to Penzance – 1st August

We aim for the event to be a competitive yet fun event with a free day on the 30th July to explore the beautiful Isles of Scilly.

There are classes and prizes under PY, IRC and MOCRA as well as the 'Petit Bateau' trophy for the first double handed competitor and for COGS members. Both Monohulls and Multihulls welcome.

Race team's popularity soars by postponing in favour of cream teas After Sunday's big breeze, the fleet Monday morning looked on as the early indications were for more of the same.
