RS Aero Viridian Firecracker Regatta at the Viridian Sailing Center, Dallas

Light winds and hot Texan temperatures saw a reduced schedule of three races at the Viridian Firecracker Regatta, mixed with the occasional refreshing dip to keep cool!

The twenty RS Aeros were spread over the three RS Aero Classes. Congratulations to the winners; in the RS Aero 5s and RS Aero 7s Max Nilsson (Fort Worth) and Griffin Orr (Corinthian SC), respectably, had clean sweeps whilst the RS Aero 9s was much closer at the top of the results sheet with Andrew Vandling (Rush Creek YC) pipping Matthew Romberg (Austin) and Eric Roman (CSC) by just a point.

With thirty RS Aeros on the dock at the Viridian Sailing Center now, the Firecracker Regatta and Viridian venue are established as a fantastic RS Aero base. Viridian provides a key focal point for the Texas RS Aeros and visitors keen to travel and join in with a charter.
