Three races were held on the first day of the International 470 Class European Championship in Cannes, France. The day started off with very light winds, slowly building as clouds built over the race course. All in all, three races were held.

Japan's Keiju Okada and Miho Yoshioka lead with an impressive 2,1,1 scoreline.
