Race 4 win for Ben Ainslie in the Finns

by Mark Jardine & Gael Pawson 10 Aug 2008 10:22 BST 9-21 August 2008

An awesome win for Ben

Race 4 - In the Finns it was a solid start for Ben Ainslie who rounded the first mark in fourth place, Brazil's Eduardo Couto leading the way. As the fleet turned upside down behind the leaders, Ben managed to cling on dropping to sixth, while many of those around him were pushed right down. At the penultimate mark he was seventh, with the overall leader Zach Railey in the front. However Ben put in an awesome final leg to take the race win ahead of Railey, leaving him second overall five points behind the American and 12 points ahead of third-placed Canadian.
