The Championship season is not over, even for the Rooster 8.1 Class, if you are up for a challenge!
Luckily for you the Rooster 8.1 National Championships were cancelled due to lack of wind earlier in the summer. We have now arranged the event to take place at last year's venue where we got a staggering 19 entries.
The Rooster 8.1 Class National Championships will be held at Weston Sailing Club over the weekend of the 18th and 19th October 2008. Rigs will be for hire at just £15 for the weekend - and the entry will again be just £15. As well as generous spot prizes donated by Rooster Sailing for all ability levels, there will once again be a training day on the Friday 17th October, free to all entrants, to be run by Steve Cockerill and Ian Morgan - meeting at 12:00 rigged on Friday 17th October at Weston Sailing Club.
Weston Sailing Club certainly know how to run a championship - so brush off the cobwebs and test your ability to sail 'overpowered'.
Rig Hire: Please bring your standard lower mast - and we will hire you a sleeve, sail and battens for just £15! Membership of the class association is free - click here to join the association newsletter. To pre-book your rig (money taken on the day) -
