Selden top two at Contender Winters Championships

The latest Seldén Series 2 Contender spars were used by the top two sailors at the recent Winter Championships held at Datchet Water Sailing Club.

Both Ben McGrane and Graeme Willcox were powered by the SMC2 product combined with the latest Dacron North Sail. Working with North, Seldén have spent a winter developing and tuning this rig package to maximise its potential for the 2011 season.

Ben McGrane’s boat will be on display on the Contender Class Association stand. Built by Chris Somner Dinghy Services, the boat is an excellent example of the Contender constructed using modern materials. The hull is fitted out with Seldén Deck Hardware and Seldén Performance Ropes and this specification is now an option for all new boats.
