If you’re a young dinghy sailor looking for a sponsorship package to help you become a future Olympic champion, or you know someone who is, then we might be able to help you. We’ve teamed up with insurance4dinghies from Towergate Mardon to offer dinghy sailors aged 16 or under the chance to apply for a £2000 sponsorship package.
One lucky applicant will receive financial support for their training, travel and equipment costs – plus there’s free insurance.
Insurance4dinghies’ Managing Director, Nigel Mills, comments: “It’s tough both mentally and financially for anyone trying to make it into the Olympic squad so we’re hoping that by supporting a young hopeful, it will relieve some of the pressure and help that person realise their dream.”
