The Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy Week is just around the corner, with the sun still shining it's looking to be a great event!
Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy Week, sailed under the burgee of South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club is the 'must do' family event of the season. With an extensive social program including live bands, BBQs, children's racing, and some great Crewsaver products as prizes, everything is in place for an enjoyable event.
Sally Budd and Andy Teague, organizers of Crewsaver Abersoch Dinghy Week along with the Team at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club are 'delighted to have Crewsaver as the Title Sponsors of the biggest dinghy sailing event in the calendar and are looking forward to welcoming competitors this weekend when the event gets underway'.
The event officially begins on Sunday 21st July. Racing will run for six days with each race lasting roughly two hours. Over 300 boats are expected to attend in a variety of different classes. If you have not sailed there before it has to be one of the top places in the UK to sail. The event includes access and use of a fantastically placed club house and is run from a long beach for launching and storage without having to pull your boat far.
As part of the event Crewsaver have teamed up with the Abersoch Boat Yard to be able to offer Crewsaver products to all competitors at a reduced price. If there's something you need to stock up on make sure you get your voucher and set aside some time to pay a visit to Abersoch Boat Yard during the event.
