The RYA has announced that Suzuki will be the new title sponsor of the RYA Dinghy Show, the only exhibition in the world dedicated exclusively to dinghy sailing.

After many years of exhibiting at and supporting the show, Suzuki has chosen to become title sponsor for the next four years as part of its on-going commitment to getting people out on the water and involved in boating.

Gareth Lumsdaine, Sales & Marketing Manager for Suzuki GB's Marine & ATV Divisions said: "We are absolutely delighted to extend our relationship with the RYA by becoming title sponsor of the Dinghy Show. It is a fantastic show and one that Suzuki has enjoyed a presence at for some years now. It gives us an excellent platform from which to promote Suzuki's versatile four stroke outboards as the range includes models that are ideal for auxiliary engines, chase or support craft and of course safety boats."

With hundreds of exhibitors, clubs and classes, the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show is packed to the rafters with the latest boats, classic designs, kit, gear and gadgets of all kinds, as well as offering loads of free advice, free workshops, talks and a whole host a fun activities, competitions and events to enjoy.

It's also a great place for anyone who has never tried dinghy sailing before to come along and get all the information they need about getting started including the boats, the kit and much, much more.

Jon White, RYA Sport Development Manager commented: "We are really excited that Suzuki is sponsoring the show for the next four years. We are confident that with their support the show will become bigger and better than ever."

RYA Show's Coordinator Charlotte Pearson added: "We already have some great speakers lined up for the 2014 show and some exciting new coaching sessions; as well as some old favourites! There are also some fantastic activities and attractions in the pipe line for visitors of the show to enjoy."

The show, which has been running for over 50 years, will now be known as The RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show, in association with Yachts and Yachting.

The 2014 show takes place at Alexandra Palace, London on Saturday 01 and Sunday 02 March. Further details on ticket availability and 'what's on' to be announced in the coming weeks.
