On the International Moth stand this weekend will be the latest Hydrofoil moth from Full Force boats in Portland, Weymouth. Sam Pascoe's boat is the latest thinking in Hydrofoil Moth design, with new foils, central mounted surface sensing wand, and a pre-preg carbon hull.
Launched only a week ago, this is the latest of many new boats in the UK as the UK fleet gear up towards the World Championships in Denmark in the summer. Brits Simon Payne and Adam May managed to beat World Champion Rohan Veal in last years Europeans, can they do the same again at the Worlds?
The Moth class is looking forward to a good year. With builders busy turning out new boats all the time, the class' embrace of hydrofoils has proved very popular.
Come along to the Moth stand to see the boat, and DVD footage of flying Moths in action.
