The AB is Poole's answer to the Oppie, designed by Harry Poole and used as the junior trainer at Parkstone YC for years. There's a healthy fleet of them there and some in Ayr too. People love them because they can be sailed one-up or with a crew/parent. Because they're sailed by a lot of very young helms, many of them have fenders around the bow. By David Harding
