Which is your most important piece of Musto equipment and why?
Musto Drysuit. Because its very light weight, breathable and gives freedom of movement. You always feel confident in the worst weather conditions.
How satisfied have you been with P&B sails?
Our performance improvement is easily measured through our results, so very satisfied.
How has being a member of the Race Team helped your sailing?
The special training days run by Dave Wade has been a great help. Advice on tuning our 420 to get the maximum performance out of the P&B sails.
Has being a member helped you to achieve your goals? How?
Top 5 at any of the 420 class main events in 2006 was my goal, this has been achieved with better sails, rig and P&B service.
Have your goals changed since being a member of the Race Team?
For 2007 for sure we are aiming for medal placing in National and International Events.
What is your most memorable moment of the last sailing year?
Going into the last race at the 420 End of Season regatta as overall leader.
Do you have confidence in changing your sails and still achieving consistent performance?
Yes we do, unlike many of the 420 fleet we have been involved in the development of the P&B sails we are using. With P&B we have been able to discuss our requirement fully, unlike imported sails from manufacturers who do not talk to the end user.
