Bang up to date in both technology and design, Musto’s MPX GORE-TEX Race collection of Jacket, Smock and Salopettes has been re-designed for 2007 and represents the last word in comfort and performance.
Ideal for racing and cruising inshore and in coastal waters, but well up to the occasional trip across the sea when teamed with Musto base and middle layers, the MPX GORE-TEX Race Jacket has GORE-TEX breathable stretch fabric across the upper back, sleeves and shoulders as well as articulated elbows.
The roll-way, fluorescent, detachable reefing hood is designed for a perfect fit. Chest and side pockets provide ample storage and the scooped hem, with an adjustable tensioner, ensures a snug fit to the body.
The MPX GORE-TEX Race Salopettes provide protection right up to armpit level with lycra shoulders and elasticated underarms for comfort sitting on the rail or standing at the wheel. The long, two-way zip has a waterproof gusset and the Salopettes are unlined for ease of access and movement. 500 denier Cordura seat and knee patches with internal, abrasion-free seams enhance durability and comfort and the stretch, Velcro-adjustable ankle seals provide a smooth and non-abrasive fit.
The Salopettes can also be teamed with the MPX GORE-TEX Race Smock, which features the same breathable GORE-TEX stretch fabric across the upper back, but has smooth, non-abrasive stretch neck and wrist seals and a Velcro-adjustable neoprene waistband. The zip, housed in a waterproof gusset, runs from the side of the neck to the underarm on the right hand side. The elbows are articulated for ease of movement.
