Free On-Line Training for Sailwave sailing results software

Sailwave is used by sailing clubs across the world to generate sailing results for club and open events. Although Sailwave is free of charge to download and use, some clubs may have avoided it as not all their volunteer race officers would know how to use the software.
For this reason, Apropos Learning have decided to generate on-line Sailwave training modules to showcase their training development services. Four Free of Charge modules are available, giving step by step guidance on how to install and use Sailwave to generate results for handicap or single fleets.
If you have ever gone through the pain of locating Portsmouth Yardstick numbers, calculating corrected time and then selecting the correct discards, you will be astonished by Sailwaves ability to simply take the boat type, finish/elapsed time and then automatically calculate complete series results immediately.
Once you have set up Sailwave, you just enter the competitor details and their finish/elapsed time. An example is shown below:
At the press of a button, Sailwave immediately takes these details, applies Handicap ratings, calculates corrected time and applied discards giving you a result sheet such as the one below.
Once you become familiar with Sailwave, you can use the more advanced features including automatic returns to the RYA and publishing results to your club website and even the world famous Yachts and Yachting website!
