XOD Master Class at Itchenor Sailing Club on March 15th 2009

Olympic helmsman to visit Itchenor Sailing Club

Stuart Jardine, who represented Great Britain at both the Mexico and Munich Olympic Games, will be spending Sunday, 15th March with the XOD class at Itchenor S.C.

Stuart is the most successful XOD helm ever with a career in the class spanning over 50 years and winning the Captain's Cup at Cowes six times, including last year at the age of 75. The day will cover a number of subjects from the latest developments in the class to a Master class on racing XODs, with particular emphasis on the role of the crew.
