It’s mid-October and time once again for that autumnal treat, the Fotoboat calendar competition. Throughout the year, Fotoboat’s snappers have been at events large and small throughout the UK and further afield (this year, much further, with Alan Henderson’s trip to Australia and New Zealand). But for the last few days they have been glued to their screens sifting through thousands of images to select the 60 best examples to put into the competition.
You can follow the link from the Fotoboat front page to the competition gallery, where you will be able to rate the the pictures. At the end of next week we will remove the 30 lowest rated pictures and reset the scores. A week later we will take the top 12 pictures, put them into the 2010 calendar, rush it to the printers start taking orders.
If you know the people in the pictures don’t forget to tell them, so they and their friends and family can vote too!
On the Fotoboat front page you will also find a link you can use to encourage us to produce a calendar for you own dinghy class. By the time the main competition closes we will see how far we have been encouraged, and announce which class calendars will go into production.
Have fun with your choosing and voting!
