With only a couple of days left in the first round of the Fotoboat calendar competition, Heather Davies’ shot of an RS300 sailor trying very hard indeed is holding the top spot. The rest of the top thirty pictures cover a great variety of classes, from Oppies to the 49er and the foiling Moth. The final round, to pick the 12 for the calendar, starts this weekend, so look out for further announcements.

On the class calendar front we can announce that, for the second year running, the Laser 2000 class is the first to get all the green lights lit up and secure production of their own class calendar. Next to go might be the National 12s but a few more votes are needed yet.
