After the highly variable winds of yesterday (Saturday), today came as a welcome relief to all. From the outset, with the first race going at 1.00 p.m., the wind had settled in the southwest at force 2 to 3. Thus it persisted throughout the afternoon allowing all three races in each of the three classes to be run, in bright sunshine, on time and without the agony of having to reposition marks.
The day produced some really competitive sailing resulting in overall victory, with five races counted, for Darren Stower and Grant Hamilton's Angry Pirate in the Tiger & Wildcat class, Laurence Carter and Josh Potts Fly Bi in the Hobie 16 class and Louis Sangan and Jonty Gales in the Hobie Dragoon class.
