Cadet October Training at Frensham Pond Sailing Club

Forty-two Cadet class dinghies and over eighty youngsters gathered at Frensham Sailing Club for the first of four race training weekends. This annual event has traditionally been directed by top coach Mike MacNamara.

Onshore briefings and intense practise afloat are the order of the day. Then children and adults alike share the water for the afternoon’s regular racing. Valuable experience for the youngsters to sharpen reactions on an overcrowded water.
