by Ben McGrane, Seldén Mast 1 Mar 2011 11:26 GMT
Stand B44, 5-6 March 2011
This year Seldén will be exhibiting on stand B44 in the Great Hall.
Skandia Team GBR sailors Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell will be on the Seldén stand on Saturday 12.00-15.00. Currently ranked the highest British 470 team in the ISAF world rankings, they have recorded an impressive succession of results since teaming up just prior to the World Championships last year. Aside from an outstanding year in the 470, Stu also took time out to compete at the Merlin Rocket Nationals where he won helming.
Both sailors will be on hand to answer questions so whether you are an aspiring Olympian or a club sailor looking for some pointers this is a great chance to come and talk to a pair of top class sailors. You can also take the opportunity to get a signed poster.
Two boats will also be displayed, Dave Wade’s National Championship winning Fireball with Cumulus mast, 2633 boom section and Twaron spinnaker pole, built by Winder boats this is a great example of the latest specification Fireball. Also on display will be David Hayes’ brand new Winder Merlin Rocket with the latest Intermediate Modulus Series 2 Carbon mast and BC086 Carbon boom. Both boats are fitted out with Seldén Deck Hardware.
The full range of dinghy deck hardware will be on display, well worth checking out. This comprehensive performance range is quickly becoming one of the most popular choices on the market. Deck Hardware products will be available to purchase on the Pinnell & Bax stand B36.
