As one season concludes and another beckons, we take time to reflect and re-live the high points of 2011. In the next issue of Yachts & Yachting, out on January 6 we have our pick of the year, and we’re asking for your help.
It was a fantastic sailing season, as the season before the Olympic Games should be… and now you have your chance to vote on where our awards should go – what were best new boats, events and classes of 2011?
The shortlist ranges from cruiser-racers to dinghies, multihulls to keelboats, international regattas to national events, new classes to old. Was the Sail for Gold Regatta the best event of 2011, or the Round the Island Race? Was the Contender World Championship more impressive than the Optimist 50th Nationals? Which was the best new yacht launched and which was the best dinghy? You help us decide… Voting runs from now until December 28, so don’t miss the chance to have your say.
