Tickets are now on sale for The RYA Volvo Dinghy Show 2012, the only show in the world dedicated exclusively to all things dinghy sailing and showcasing all that’s great about British dinghy sailing.
Held at the magnificent Alexandra Palace in London over the weekend of 3-4 March 2012 the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show, in association with Yachts and Yachting and Suzuki, has something for all dinghy sailors. Young or old, novice or pro, cruiser or racer, it’s the perfect way to kick start your 2012 season.
“We have some great talks, coaching sessions and exhibitors lined up for the 2012, and being an Olympic year we will of course be celebrating with the official launch of the RYA’s ‘Our Sporting Life – Sail for Gold’ exhibition, taking you through the history of British Olympic sailing”, commented Helen Waterhouse, RYA Volvo Dinghy Show manager.

Over on the Volvo Main Stage there will be presentations including; racing rules and tactics, driving and towing tactic and Olympic preview. While over in the Coaching Area you can learn about basic rig tuning, setting the spinnaker, trapezing, improving your core stability, Portsmouth yardstick and wet and dry suit repairs.
Tickets brought in advance cost just £11.00 for adults (£9.00 for RYA members), children 16 or under; accompanied by an adult, just £5.00 a ticket and go free on Sunday (maximum two free of charge child tickets per adult). Children who are RYA members go free of charge all weekend.

Once again by booking in advance you could also help your club win some fantastic prizes. Anyone buying a ticket in advance will be able to nominate their sailing club to be in with a chance of winning.
