21 July 2012
The countdown to Hampshire's own Olympic inspired Event is now on (49 days to go) and the organisers are busy gearing up for the big day. There are already 10 Teams entered with over 150 competitors so far but there is still space for more competitors who can enter as a team or as an individual.
There are some whacky names for some of the Teams, such as Swanwick Sorcerers, Hamble Spitfires, GE T Going (GE Aviation), Feeling Rough (Harbour Authority) and Harvey's Wolf Pack. Although they sound fun there are also some serious competitors amongst the entries, such as Stubbington Green who are Local Triathlon Club.
To take advantage of our low early entry fee of £10 per event, which has just been extended to June 23rd all you have to do is logon to our website at www.riverhamblegames.com/register and join in.
The organisers are still looking for anyone who wants to be involved in a non-sporting way and help with the event on the day. There are also opportunities for local businesses to be involved too. Any individual or business interested should contact us via our website.
Be a part of it!
