Crewsaver, the UK’s leading lifejacket and watersports equipment manufacturer, is pleased to announce the launch of a range of new clothing, safety kit and luggage designed for dinghy sailors.

With over five decades of expertise in manufacturing quality equipment, Crewsaver prides itself on its thorough research and development system, which results in designing dinghy products that sailors really want to use.

Today Crewsaver launched a selection of buoyancy aids, clothing, gloves and luggage for the dinghy market at METS 2012 (Marine Equipment Trade Show) in Amsterdam, the international marine leisure industry’s largest trade show.

David Ellis, Crewsaver’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to launch the latest additions to our extensive range for dinghy sailors including the Strike spray top, buoyancy aids, luggage and gloves. All the items in our quality range are designed to provide unrivalled safety features, exceptional comfort and high performance based on the feedback from all levels of dinghy sailors.”

Crewsaver launched the lightweight and highly durable Strike spray top (RRP £80) for the dinghy sailor featuring adjustable cuffs and neoprene waist. Both windproof and extremely breathable, the Strike is an unlined and fully taped 100 percent waterproof spray top with a secure chest pocket. The Strike spray top is available in black/red in a full range of sizes from child through to XXL.

New additions to Crewsaver’s safety range for dinghy sailors are the Replay buoyancy aid and the Tetra buoyancy aid.

The Replay buoyancy aid (RRP £89.99), designed for coaches and instructors, features a unique front zip entry system, large rear hydration pocket and slim fit layered foam construction. Adjustable shoulder straps and waist belt ensures a good fit, while junior versions have fitted thigh straps as standard. The Replay buoyancy aid is available in red/black in S/M, M/L and XL sizes.

The Tetra buoyancy aid (RRP £45), designed for dinghy sailing and general watersports, features an adjustable waist, curved front zip pocket and elasticated shoulder straps. The Tetra is constructed from 3D shaped supersoft foam panels and has integral branding pockets for adding club or company logos to the back and front. The Tetra is available in blue/red in J, S/M, M/L and XL, and in black in J, S/M, M/L, XL and XXL.

Also designed to meet the needs of the dinghy sailor, the Cyclone Plus gloves and Delta Plus gloves are also new additions to the Crewsaver range.

The Cyclone Plus gloves (RRP £25) feature 3mm neoprene construction, a red polypro inner for warmth and comfort and a printed rubberised pattern on the palm for high grip when it is needed most. The Cyclone Plus gloves are available in black in XXS to large sizes.

The Delta Plus gloves (RRP £19.99) have a 3mm superstretch neoprene palm with a glued, blind-stitched and liquid seamed construction. They also feature a printed rubber pattern on palm for high grip and a red polypro inner provides warmth and comfort to ensure the focus remains on performance regardless of the conditions. The Delta Plus gloves are available in black in XXS to large sizes.

Crewsaver has also unveiled its specialist luggage range including the Expedition holdall (RRP from £49.99) constructed from heavy-duty tarpaulin fabric with grab handles at both ends and adjustment buckles for compressing kit. The Expedition holdall is available in black/red in 75L and 110L versions.

The Vapour holdall (RRP from £40) features a heavy-duty polyester construction with wide mouthed dual zip opening for maximum storage and a Velcro-sealed storm flap. The Vapour holdall is available in black/red in 70L and 110L versions.

The Crew holdall (RRP from £25) has a heavy-duty polyester construction with clear end pockets, reinforced base and internal side and dry pockets. The Crew holdall is available in black and black/red in 55L, 75L and 100L sizes.

The Lifejacket bag (RRP £28) provides the ideal storage solution for your most important pieces of kit. Designed to store, protect and transport up to five lifejackets, the Lifejacket bag features a drain section, side pocket, carry handle and hanging loop. The Lifejacket bag is available in black in one universal size.

The Bute Dry bag (RRP from £13) is available in a wide range of sizes and is constructed from abrasion resistant fabric with a semi-transparent rip-stop panel for easy location of contents and Dring attachment for lashing down.
