Fantastic RYA Dinghy Show for Rooster Sailing

How fantastic it was to see so many Rooster Customers face to face last weekend. From a Rooster perspective we processed more orders by 2pm on Saturday than we had a the London Boat Show all week! You can tell we love the RYA Dinghy Show!
Many took the challenge to try on our new super stretchy SuperTherm long johns and tops and so they flew off the shelves, but the best value for the winter has to be the mixture of hot hands and thermal grip gloves combo which had been recommended by the 29er and Feva coaches this winter. I also noticed that one of our Team Rooster Writers has also had a little 10 minute swim in his new SuperTherm Kit in 4 degrees and is happy to tell the tale on our blog here.
We were also amazed that the sales of our new Red Pro Aquafleece® were matched evenly with our Black and Ladies versions almost one for one.

Streaker
We proudly displayed the Rooster Streaker on our stand, you may not have noticed, but the back deck has been recently modified after the class opted to reduce its size so sails could be stowed in it without creasing. It might also add a safety feature as the sailor can now come in over the transom with a lot less effort. We are really glad to have secured a build slot for 4 new Streakers in June after taking another two firm orders at the show. We are really sorry that these little gems are only made to order, but if you know what you want, you will know to wait for the best.
Rooster 8.1
London Corinthian Yacht Club have approached us again to run our Nationals with them. The boat is ideally suited for river sailing with its high aspect ration rig. Watch this space for the Nationals date announcement.
New Technical Gear
I do not think you could have missed our Go Pro stand this year. The quality of the new Hero3, White, Silver and Black are stunning, even on the lowest settings. We were surprised to sell out of both the Black and White versions and the floaty back doors, but do not be worried, you can still get them online at Rooster with Free Postage Options. Perhaps I will have more video critiquing to do - see related article.
