Only one race sailed on the second day of Etchells World Championship held in Italy at Yacht Club Cala de' Medici, Rosignano, Tuscany.

Today as well the start had to be postponed due to lack of wind at scheduled time, but after about three hours the start of the race with a westerly wind up to 10 knots. The race committee tried to fire a second race but at that momento the wind was very shifty and it was not possible to go on with the program.

The fight at the start was tough, 5 yachts, including James Howells winner of yesterday second race, were disqualified under U flag.

Greek skipper Goerge Andreadis with American tactician Jeff Madrigali soon got the lead keeping it until the finishing line.

The leader of the results after three races is still the American skipper Marvin Beckmann.

Wednesday some more races starting from midday.
