Hyde Sails making waves in Gibraltar

by Hyde Sails 24 Jun 2013 12:52 BST 24 June 2013

The Royal Gibraltar Yacht Club Victory fleet has witnessed the arrival of Hyde Sails this summer – and it has been one that has been certainly noticed!

Louis Triay's 'Viking', and Monty Spindler/Chris Keightly-Pugh's 'Temptress' switched to using Hyde's sails for the 2013 season. Both boats have significantly improved their performances in the club's races so far.

Louis Triay said: "Viking is now on par with the fastest Victorys in our fleet. Both upwind and downwind, 'Viking' has phenomenal speed".

The Spindler/Keightley-Pugh 'Temptress' has also improved its results, finishing second in fleet in the recent Royal Gibraltar YC Cup, showing major boat speed improvement downwind with her new Hyde spinnaker.

Both 'Viking' and 'Temptress' are in the mix for the Royal Gibraltar YC Kings Cup competition for 2013.
