Henri Lloyd announce a major push in their wholesale chandlery sales division as Pauline Nolan joins to reinforce the sales effort, supporting outlets on the south coast. Pauline knows the market well having spent over nine years with one of the UK's major chandlery chains, most recently as the primary buyer for sailing clothing. This new role of 'UK Marine Sales and Merchandise Consultant' will see Henri Lloyd increase activity and support to retailers within the wholesale marine market.
This role is in addition to the recent appointment of Ben Hodgson-Kerry who joined as Southern Area Marine Sales Executive in March this year. Ben will be looking after wholesale accounts in the South East area stretching from Poole to the Wash. Both Ben and Pauline will be based from the Henri Lloyd office and showroom in Lymington.
Paul Strzelecki, Henri Lloyd's CEO explained,
"We see a lot of potential in the market as the country slowly emerges from recession – shown again this week as the UK's economic growth continues to show positive signs. Our 2013 range has already seen strong sales so far this year and we anticipate significant growth in 2013 and through into 2014. Pauline brings with her a massive amount of experience from her time at leading chandleries over many years. This coupled with her infectious enthusiasm and knowledge of Henri Lloyd means she is a great addition to the HL team."
Henri Lloyd has been market leaders in marine clothing since its inception and are currently celebrating 50 years of Intelligent Innovation.
Paul Strzelecki continued, "We pride ourselves on the quality of our technical design and manufacturing, putting wearer comfort and performance at the heart of our remit. Over the years Henri Lloyd has brought so many "firsts" to the market, first use of Velcro, first use of taped seams, first to use non corrosive zips & first to use Optivision hood panels, to name but a few. As a company we excel in the intelligent application of innovation to enhance the sailing experience and support more "firsts" in the sport."
