24-26 May 2014
The regatta continued on Sunday with champagne sailing for all classes. With 15-20 knots of breeze, bright sunshine and a great swell in Poole Bay, the conditions couldn't get any better. On coming ashore the Flying Fifteens were heard to say that it was the best racing they had ever had.
In the National Championships patterns were emerging, in the Multihull fleet, Phill Cotton in Buzz has a 5 point margin, in the J24 fleet Duncan McCarthy has a 10 point margin over Serco with Bob Turner.
The J70's are being lead by Ian Atkins in Boats.com and Patrick Liardet in Aqua J is leading the J80 fleet.
In the 2.4 tidal National Championships, Megan Pascoe who missed the first day, is playing catch up and scored 4 first places to get herself into 3rd place.
Light winds are forecast for the last day (Monday) and with fleets having two races, some of the leader boards could change.
