After a calm morning, wind filled in very quickly in the early afternoon, raising sailors' expectations for steady, strong winds.
Instead, the conditions shifted between calm and fairly strong, with shifting wind direction throughout the afternoon, resulting in a number of black-flagged races. Despite the conditions, several classes were able to complete races.
