Cadet World Championships at Sanxenxo, Spain - Day 5

Very light, shifty winds saw the Race Officer only manage to complete one race for the worlds yesterday. Fortunately the GBR team had a good day.
Going into the last day the Race Officer will try to sail 2 races but it is felt that he will be lucky to get only one as no race can commence after 1400. James Rusden still leads the event from Stephen Videlo with Stephen Tiernan 4th. All the GBR team are currently shown on the provisional results in the top 12 places. This could change as there are a number of protest matters that are yet to be resolved. Another discard will kick in if they complete another race today; this will further complicate the maths.
The promotional fleet managed 2 races yesterday with Katherine Kimber/Stevie Green comfortably winning the first race and Ben Cornish/Sam Matson running away with the second. The overnight positions have Jenny Lennon leading Joshua Pistol. They have one race scheduled today to complete the scheduled 12 races.
