Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator

Pinnell & Bax are an established marine brand that provides a number of different products and services to the sailing community. Based at our Northampton branch P&B are now seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to increase brand awareness and help drive on-line sales.

As a Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator your key responsibilities will be:

Graphic Design
DESIGN FOR PRINT - Brochures, flyers, magazine adverts and leaflets.
DESIGN FOR DIGITAL - Web page layouts, website banners (internal / external), marketing emails.
PHOTO RE-TOUCHING - Product images for on-line/off-line media.

Website
CONTENT MANAGEMENT - Write content for web pages, blogs, and emails.
WEBSITE INVENTORY - Add / remove products.
WEB DEVELOPMENT - Liaise with web developer to build the brands on-line presence.

Marketing
SOCIAL MEDIA - Manage social media accounts.
PPC - Manage Google Addwords account.
DATA ANALYSIS – Use Google Analytics to identify strengths and weaknesses of the website and identify new avenues of marketing. SEO – Manage SEO strategies and liaise with external marketing professionals.

To fulfil this role we are looking for individuals with the following skills:

Use design software Illustrator, Photoshop, In-design to create artwork for print and digital media.
Experience with HTML, CSS to help manage website content and produce marketing emails.
Understanding of web design and user experience specifically in retail environment.
Working knowledge of SEO strategy
Competent in Maths and English to interoperate data and write marketing material.
Good attention to detail.
Experience of managing online marketing campaigns e.g. Google Addwords (PPC)
Work off own initiative and manage time effectively.
Comfortable interacting with senior members of staff.
Good communicator.

Experience or knowledge of sailing would be hugely advantageous in this role.

Workshop Assistant

Pinnell & Bax are an established marine brand that provides a number of different products and services to the sailing community. Based at our Northampton branch P&B are now seeking a Workshop Assistant to join P&B's hugely experienced rigging and repairs department.

Job Description:

Assist with finishing gel coat repairs
Sanding and preparing finishes for keels and hulls
Polishing gel coat surfaces
Replacing laminates to damaged areas
Assist in new boat fit outs

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

Experience handling power tools in a work environment
Proficient in the use of hand tools
Have an understanding of glass/foam construction

Full training will also be provided.

Experience or knowledge of sailing would be hugely advantageous in this role.
