The Kent Team made a pretty clean sweep of the NSSA Inlands, sailed at Datchet Water Sailing Club this Saturday and Sunday May 23/24th. They took first place in all of the main fleets but local sailor Daniel Chattock from Datchet prevented a totally clean sweep by winning the Rookie Fleet.
Michael and Sam Dyer in an RS Feva won the Handicap Trophy beating the RS Tera of Matt Taylor from Colchester High School and the National 12 from Canbridgeshire sailed by Thomas Procter and Henry Hutchinson.
In the Toppers Morgan Archer was first, beating fellow Kent Sailor Pierce Seward, while William Penny from Horning Sailing Club was third.
In the Radials Stan Chick beat Sol Thornton from Datchet into second place while Cambrigeshires Harry Moffatt came third.
A total of over fifty boats took part in the event, many of which will also be taking part in the week long NSSA Regatta being hosted by the Leicestershire and Rutland Youth Sailing Association at Rutland SC from July 26 to 31st.
