by Peta Stuart-Hunt 3 Jun 2015 19:52 BST 3 June 2015

A new team is in place in the Royal Southern Yacht Club's Sailing Office:

Sailing Manager - Tim Thubron

Tim has worked as a professional sailor for the last 20 years as well as being involved in yacht management, organising corporate sailing and racing events and running race training courses. A regular winner at Cowes Week and many other Solent events, Tim has won National, European and World titles across a range of classes.

Tim said: "I am delighted to be joining the Royal Southern Yacht Club just as the new Prince Philip Yacht Haven is completed. This amazing expansion alongside our existing Club infrastructure will allow us to offer some of the very best facilities for hosting prestigious International yachting events and welcoming visiting yachtsmen and women to the Hamble."

Sailing Assistant - Kimberley Adams

Kimberley has a degree in Business Studies from Bournemouth University and has gained a wide range of work experience in hospitality, yacht charter and office administration. Having joined the Royal Southern Yacht Club in September 2014 she has been acting as Sailing Secretary since January 2015.

The Royal Southern's racing programme for 2015 is available on the Club's website at www.royal-southern.co.uk/Events.
