As the closing date for the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show / Suzuki Marine Safety Boat competition looms ever nearer boaters across the country are being urged to get their entry in to be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize.

Up for grabs is a prize package consisting of a Rigiflex Newmatic 360 powered by a Suzuki DF9.9A outboard plus a road trailer from Extreme Trailers in a package worth over £5,500 (RRP) as well as a VIP trip to the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace, London, along with your friends or family, or a delegation from your club, as guests of Suzuki and the RYA over the weekend of 05-06 March 2016 to collect your prize.

The competition is open until the 31 January 2016 and has already seen thousands enter in the hope of clinching the star prize, but there is still time to get your entry in to be in the running to win the safety boat package for your club.

Steve Wilson, Commodore of Greenwich Yacht Club, winners of the 2014/15 competition commented: "Since winning the competition back in March the boat has been used for club training and race days. It also made an appearance at this year's London Youth Games at King George Reservoir. It has been a great platform for teaching from and manoeuvrable in close quarters and due to its construction it's robust and tough."

"We have been overwhelmed by how popular the safety boat competition has proved to be over the past few months, but with such an amazing prize up for grabs it is not surprising so many people are keen to win", commented Charlotte Pearson, RYA Shows Co-ordinator.

Taking part couldn't be easier, simply complete the online entry form and you could be in with chance of winning – www.rya.org.uk/go/safetyboatcomp Remember entries must be submitted by 31 January 2016.

The RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show / Suzuki Marine Safety Boat competition was launched in 2014 to celebrate the launch of three new safety boat packages from Suzuki Marine. The Rigiflex Newmatic 360 powered by a Suzuki DF9.9A engine is one of the three safety boat packages developed by Suzuki in partnership with Ribcraft and Rigiflex, to a specification agreed by the RYA to offer clubs standard packages that will cater for the prime needs of most clubs and training centres.

Alongside the inland/inshore Rigiflex, there is also a 4.8m inshore RIB and a 5.85m coastal RIB from Ribcraft. For more information about the Suzuki Marine safety boat packages visit www.rya.org.uk/go/safetyboatpackages
