Twenty two teams from as far away as Cumbria and Derbyshire gathered at Farmoor Reservoir for the National School Sailing Association doublehanded two boat (2x2) Team Racing on Saturday March 19th. 88 races (and one resail) were completed using the HLS system so everyone got 8 races in almost perfect conditions before the knock out stage.

The League had Magdalen College School (MCS) A in first place, Cambridgeshire A in Second, West Oxon SC A third and MCS B fourth

So for the Semi finals first placed MCS A sailed fourth placed MCS B in a semi which went to three races but ran to form with MCS A going through to the final. West Oxfordshire A third in the League took on second placed Cambridgeshire A and beating them 2:1 in a very hard fought semi.

First race of the final was a very close fought affair with both teams leading at stages. It came down to the finishing line where both WOSC boats were able to claim room on the finish mark and thus snuck a win.

The second race was more clear cut with WOSC leading off the start line and holding a 1,2 for most of the race. MCS came back on the last beat but were unable to get to grips with the WOSC team, comprising Alex Baxter, James Nicoll, Joe Scarborough & Bea Burrows who took their second win and the Championship 2:0.
