Noble Marine Dinghy Database

Have you ever wondered how fast an 18ft Skiff is? Or who builds the Spectrum dinghy?

The Noble Marine dinghy database lets you compare statistics on over 300 different classes. The results can be sorted by 12 different parameters including insurance group, length, beam and sail area.

An interactive boat finder allows you to select classes according to the number of crew carried, the type of spinnaker and the number of trapeze. The tool will also allow you to select all boats that are similar to a particular class, this will be very useful if you are considering buying a boat as you can quickly compare the statistics for all the alternative classes. For many years we have maintained the database of popular dinghy classes to help ensure the premiums we charge for each class are as accurate as possible. We have now decided that it may be of much wider use and made it freely available via our website.
