J/80 owners are reminded that The Royal Lymington Yacht Club's reduced Early Bird Entry of £165 closes on 31st May 2016 for the J/80 Nationals, to be held on 27th, 28th and 29th August Bank Holiday.

For those who are trailing their boats to the event, there are still three spaces left for free mast stepping/unstepping and trailer storage at Berthon Marina, available until 31st May 2016.

With 13 entries already confirmed and the fleet in Lymington now standing at 15 boats, this promises to be the go-to event for J/80s this summer!

The social schedule planning is also gathering pace, with a varied programme of events:

  • Friday 26th Registration and welcome drink at RLymYC.
  • Saturday 27th after racing A dockside party at Berthon with a free first drink, then a hog roast, bar and band/music.
  • Sunday 28th – 19.00 for 19.30pm A welcome drink, three course dinner and band at the Club.
  • Monday 29th after racing Prize-giving.

Menus are being finalised and online pre-ordering will be available soon.

Jim White, J/80 Royal Lymington Yacht Club Class Captain commented "I am pleased to see so many early entries and I would urge all other potential entrants to come on board as it promises to be a great event!"
