In conjunction with the launch of the new 2017 brochure, Sunsail is delighted to announce the arrival of 17 brand new 34 and 38 monohull yachts as well as 21 new 454 catamarans in almost all featured countries listed in the new brochure. The first deliveries will be in the next few weeks to the Caribbean followed by the Mediterranean in spring and eventually to all other Sunsail destinations. In addition to the brand new models, another 50 yachts will be added throughout the year.
Sunsail recently invested several million pounds into the development of new yachts and as part of this fleet investment, additions have been specifically chosen with sailing enthusiasts in mind, many of whom are Sunsail's most loyal and longstanding charter customers.
All eyes on Mallorca
As announced earlier this year, Sunsail's former franchise base in Palma has become an official Sunsail base this summer. With a greater choice of boats and a permanent Sunsail team in place, this means an enhanced service and an expanding fleet choice for sailors. Thanks to its geographical position and temperate climate, customers can take advantage of the sailing season running from April through to October.
Specialist flotillas
Last year, Sunsail launched successfully several FOOD AND WINE FLOTILLAS in Croatia and Italy combining wine tasting and sampling local delicacies whilst on a Sunsail flotilla. Due to their success, these weeks will be offered again next summer, with departures on 4 June from Dubrovnik and 10 June, 9 and 16 September from Agana (both Croatia) as well as 13 May, 8 July and 14 October 2017 from Procida in Italy.
Also repeated will be the EXCLUSIVELY ADULTS FLOTILLA, but next year it operates from Agana departing 24 June 2017. The brand new Bahamas KITE SURFING FLOTILLA, led by a professional sailor and kite boarder, is available in November 2016.
Coming in 2017: the 'British Virgin Islands RUM TASTING FLOTILLA', dates and details to be announced in due course.
Learn to sail (whilst on holiday)
Sunsail's exclusive FLOTILLA ZERO and FLOTILLA HERO courses are a great way to start a sailing education while on holidays. The flotilla zero course is designed for beginner sailors who want to take the RYA Start Yachting course, the perfect stepping stone to a full sailing qualification. The flotilla hero combines the full social and sailing holiday experience of a Sunsail flotilla incorporating the RYA Start Yachting Course Certificate, the RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship (ENAS) online course, ICC course and exam.
