This year Shustoke Sailing Club will once again be welcoming visitors to a good variety of open events. The club is located on Severn Trent's Shustoke reservoir covering just over 100 acres, ideally situated in the West Midlands.

The Shustoke Gauntlet kicks off the events on Sunday 18th March, this is open to all monohull dinghies with an RYA published PY number between Mirror (1385) and Osprey (935).

The GP14 and Comet Trio Open is the following week on Saturday 24th March. This is the first of the GP14 Midland Bell series, I'm sure there'll be plenty of boats on the water practicing for their world championships later in the year!

On Wednesday 16th May we'll be hosting the Severn Trent Sailing Regatta for the second time. This was a successful midweek event last year with a number of visiting boats taking the opportunity to have a great sail in good company to break up their busy work week!

Our Solo Open is on Sunday 3rd June, this usually attracts a great turn out with good competition from our own home fleet!

Later in the year we'll also be hosting Mirror, Optimist, Miracle, Laser, and Phantom events so look out for more details on those, or visit our website, www.shustokesailingclub.co.uk
