The National 125 North Queensland Titles were held over the Queen's Birthday long weekend at Townsville Sailing Club by a small fleet of five boats.
The event was held in conjunction with the Longboard Bar & Grill NQ Sprint Series and saw boats travelling from as far as Brisbane to compete.
Eleven races were contested over two days in light to moderate conditions.
The Championship was taken out by Christopher Mann pairing up with current National Champion Luke Johnson sailing 'Pigs In Space Too' from Port Curtis Sailing Club.
Second were Peter and Alexa Mann in the newly launched 'Pigs In Space Too Too' also from Port Curtis Sailing Club. The latest addition to the fleet was still being assembled on Saturday morning before the first race.
Third overall were locals Tilley Pain and Kara De Lucy sailing 'Teena' from Townsville Sailing Club.
The next major events on the Queensland 125 calendar are Humpybash hosted by Humpybong Yacht Club who will also be hosting the National Titles after Christmas.
