VIK Boats has developed a new eco-friendly boat, free from noise, vibration and exhaust gases that can be recharged from solar panels or wind power. The hull of the boat is designed to move in an energy-efficient and silent mode of movement, allowing users to take a weekend trip on a single battery charge. The closed insulated salon comprises of a kitchen, control post and also a table with seats which can be transformed to a bed for two persons. There is also one sleeping place in the opening roof outside that is suitable to use in warmer weather.
Circular glazing is incorporated in the design by VIK to provide excellent visibility for the steersman and special access to the outer deck to allow carrying out mooring operations, allowing the boat to be driven single-handed. For cold or very hot climates an optional heater or air conditioner can be installed. In addition to the salon the boat has a spacious bow cabin and wc with shower cabin. On the stern there is an open cockpit with seats and a bathing platform for comfortable boarding.
