After a short waiting period in the morning, the sailors were called before mid-day to prepare for the races and sail to the spot near the Brissago Islands.
The thermal wind from the south started to breeze and the first start was resumed just before 1 p.m. All in all, 13 races were sailed in the afternoon with a steady wind of 10-12 knots.
The youngsters of RCO Regattaclub Oberhofen (SUI) managed to make the best compromise of judging the shifty wind, and got on the lead. Later in the day, the team of Lefkas Youth Challenge (Greece) stepped up their game and brought steady good results possitioning themselves on the second intermediary place.
Big battle for third place, with Union Yacht Club Wörthersee (AUT) and TYC (Thunersee Yachtclub) going head to head end TYC coming on top as the day's races were completed.
The weather conditions for today seem good and we are expecting a high number of intense races for one more day.
