Spinlock are proud new sponsors of "Spinlock 1999 Award" at the RS800 Reunion Regatta at the RS800 Volvo Noble Marine National Championship in association with Hyde Sails

THANK YOU TO OUR NEW SPONSOR SPINLOCK!

The "Spinlock 1999 Award" at the RS800 Reunion Regatta is to be awarded to the highest finishing old deck boat at the RS800 Reunion Regatta on Saturday 7 September 2019. Boats eligible for the prize will be those with sail numbers lower than 1118. Boats may be wearing the old pin top main.

Spinlock are excited to present this prize: "With the awareness of plastic waste and pollution in the world, it's important we do as much as possible to repair and reuse older sails and hulls. We are really pleased to support the original RS800 hulls and pin top mainsails at the 2019 Nationals with the "Spinlock 1999 Award" during the Reunion Regatta. The top team will win 2 x Aero Pro PFDs as worn by TEAM INEOS".

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the RS800 class, Eastbourne Sovereign SC will be hosting the RS800 Reunion Regatta and Anniversary Dinner, open to past, current and new RS800 sailors of all nationalities, on Saturday 7th September 2019. The one-day Reunion Regatta has three races scheduled, two to count, but teams also count up to 20 points according to the last year they competed in an RS800 UK Nationals, levelling the playing field for those whose RS800 days are but a distant happy memory. The Reunion Regatta is run as part of the UK Volvo Noble Marine National Championship (5th- 8th September) and you can enter just for the Saturday, for the weekend or for the full four-day Nationals. Tickets are available separately for the Anniversary Dinner.
